Sesame Letterpress' Silhouettes

We have long been fans of Sesame Letterpress (we wrote about them here) and were so excited to see a sneak preview their new collection on Design Sponge. They will be debuting it at the upcoming Stationery Show in New York. This collection is comprised of beautiful Victorian era silhouettes filled with a pop of color and pattern derived from vintage security envelope linings. Haiti Relief

As all of you know by now, a devastating 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti on January 12th. At Simply Silhouettes and My First Silhouette, we have pledged to donate 10% of our sales through January 31st to Mercy Corps for their earthquake relief efforts.

Scrapboxing

Given the business that we're in, we love creating keepsakes of our family life, but I've never been much of a scrapbooker. Yesterday, while thumbing through the February issue of Martha Stewart Living I came across an article on Darcy Miller's Scrapboxes and I think I may have found my new obsession.

Here's a closer look at a few more of them:I've got boxes and boxes of mementos and photos of our family and I can't wait to begin work on some of these. And wouldn't one look great with a silhouette?
