Start a New Tradition

Looking for an alternative to the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments? Why not start a new tradition this year with a Simply Silhouettes ornament. It's the perfect way to capture this moment in time for your child or a favorite pet.

This year we are offering two styles of ornaments:

White porcelain (2 7/8"circle), complete with its own festive red ribbon for hanging. An assortment of designs are available.

or Silver-plated 100% lead-free pewter (1.5"circle), with a decorative hook for hanging. Frames are double sided – the back can be personalized with the name and date or a personal holiday message.

It's a Party!

Now you can host your own Virtual Simply Silhouettes Home Party. No cleaning or cooking required. You can even host it in your pajamas. All you need to do is email invitations to your family and friends.

How Does It Work?
You simply choose a 2-week period in which you want to host your party. We will then forward you an email invitation and then you send it to everyone you wish to invite to your party. This email will include a special code, which your guests will enter at checkout. Your guests can then shop anytime during this time period because we are open 24/7. You will receive a gift certificate at the end of your party for a percentage of the sales. and the higher the sales, the higher the percentage. It's that simple.

Consider the possibilities for Christmas, Mother's Day, your weekly playgroup or church group. Your guests will love our products and they are perfect for gift giving too. And now you're not limited to just inviting your neighbors. You can invite all your out of town friends and family to this party.

To get started, just contact us and we will get in touch with you via email to schedule your party dates!

Halloween Treat of the Week

We found this silhouette pumpkin last October in Country Home magazine. It was designed by Matthew Mead, whose site you should definitely check out. You can easily make it yourself by purchasing little frames made for scrapbooking at your local craft store, and paint them black. Then look for the little clip art silhouettes in books or online, and just shrink them down on your copier to fit the frames.

We recently joined Facebook and have been amazed at the friends and family that it has reconnected us with, so we decided it was time for Simply Silhouettes to jump on the bandwagon too.

We invite you to join us. You'll also be the first to know about new products, special sales, giveaways and more.

Kids Rock!

Today on Cool Mom Picks we came across this great silhouette t-shirt from Tiny Revolutionary, and as parents of a budding guitarist, we couldn't resist sharing it today.

Here's a close-up of the silhouette:
Tiny Revolutionary is also donating $10 from the sale of every shirt to Rock for Kids. Since 1988 Rock for Kids has been providing music education & instruments to homeless and underprivileged kids in the Chicago area. Rock On!

Family Portrait

Look at this terrific silhouette family portrait found on Glamour magazine's blog Smitten. What a cute idea. It would be a cute birth announcement too. You can see more of this family and their home here on Martha Stewart Living.

We love this idea so much but can't quite figure how to work out the equation with our two kids. If you're interested in something like this for your own family or as a gift, just contact us at We'd love to work with you.
