These are a few of my favorite things

Two of my very favorite things are silhouettes and bunting. and when I see them combined, I can barely contain my enthusiasm. I recently wrote about one here and these are my recent finds.

Birthday Silhouette

We're loving this cake made by Nicole from Making it Lovely for her daughter Eleanor's first birthday. When we first saw this, we couldn't wait to see how she'd use it. Nicole has a wonderful blog and we've loved the monthly photos taken of Eleanor.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I came across this wonderful papel picado inspired wedding reception invitation on Make Something Happy. It was created by Angela Mattioli Design for a couple that was married in Mexico and later had a reception at home. I love the unique little touches at the bottom like the cupcake and taco, and of course, the silhouettes.
