A few of my favorite things

I got the book  Crafting a Meaningful Home yesterday and have been poring through it. It's packed with great DIY projects, including several silhouette related ones. My very favorite has to be this one combing two of my favorite things - silhouettes and garlands.

I love this DIY silhouette project found on Design Sponge.  These were done with Jack Spade inspired stripes, but really any painting style would work.
